Full Stack Python Developer

Full-time · Ghent (Hybrid - min 3 days/week in office)

Wattloop is seeking a dedicated full stack Python Developer. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our full diagnostics stack.

What you'll do

  • Device level – CAN communication on Raspberry Pi-based hardware, speaking directly with batteries in the field!
  • Core logic: Python services handling automotive diagnostics and MQTT
  • Backend: Python APIs
  • Frontend: Make beautiful visualisations of the battery data we extract
  • DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation

Who you are

  • Self starter who takes real ownership
  • Curious about how and why things work
  • Eager to make a difference for a more circular (battery) economy
  • You enjoy the speed and chaos of an early-stage startup
  • You have good craic

Qualifications

  • Solid Python skills (2+ years of experience)
  • Comfortable with backend development
  • Willing to learn frontend basics
  • Bonus: experience with CAN bus, automotive protocols, or embedded systems

Marketing Intern

Join Wattloop as a Marketing Intern and help us spread the word about our mission to unlock the hidden potential in EV batteries.

What you'll do

  • Support social media content creation and management
  • Help with marketing campaigns and outreach
  • Assist with event preparation and coordination
  • Contribute to website and marketing materials

Who you are

  • Eager to learn and take initiative
  • Interested in sustainability and cleantech
  • Creative with good communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Bonus: experience with design tools (Canva, Figma, etc.)
